Zia Redesign

Been working on this for the past couple of days. A redesign to a style better suited for puppet animation. I referenced Panty, Stocking and Garterbelt, Scott Pilgrim and Megaman for style, plus adding my own twist. I made it in Illustrator, imported the parts to After Effects and did a couple of poses with the puppet pin tool. The puppet pin tool is glitchy if yo don't use it right. But I think it would be pretty easy to animate in this style and switch out the eyes, hands and mouth via precomps and time remapping, as shown in this tutorial: [link]

I'd love to get some feedback and links to any reference, resources or good tutorials regarding complex character animation using the puppet pin tool in After Effects.
